7-nights accommodation, a programme of linear hikes with clear, easy-to-follow route notes designed to show the best of the West Lycian Way. Main luggage will be transported separately, only daypacks containing picnic, water and personal items will need to be carried on the hikes.

From Kaş enjoy an optional excursion to the achingly-pretty Greek island of Kaştellorizo which lies just 40 minutes by boat offshore. Truly an Oscar-winner of an island! Kaştellorizo was the feature island of the movie “Mediterraneo”; which won an Oscar for “Best Foreign Language Film” in 1991. Alternatively enjoy a day trip by boat to Kekova Island and the sunken city or one of several other activities – refer to Activities in this section.

Walkers should bring a drinking water container, sun protection, appropriate footwear, any necessary walking equipment e.g. walking stick, along with waterproofs and warm mid-layers. The two village houses can provide blankets for sleeping but clients may prefer to bring their own lightweight sleeping bag and liner. In the pensions and hotels twin-share rooms with all bedding and private en suite shower/WC facilities will be available.

The area we hike in is very beautiful but lacks some facilities such as banks for changing money. The closest bank to Kayaköy is in Fethiye. The next available bank on the trip is in Kaş. Kayaköy is an attractive village spread across a fertile valley. It has some small restaurants and a couple of small shops. Patara has a couple of small shops. Kaş is an attractive, cosmopolitan harbour town with a range of good restaurants, some lively bars, many shops, several banks with ATM machines, pharmacies and some local supermarkets.

Prices are quoted per person, sharing a twin or double room on a land only basis and are subject to confirmation at time of booking with the local Travel Expert.
