This trip can easily be added to almost any trek or rafting trip and is available for those staying anywhere in central Nepal, for example, Kathmandu, Pokhara or Bandipur.
Chitwan can easily be accessed by air from Kathmandu and whilst return transport to Kathmandu by air is included in the tour you may wish to contact us to discuss what are competitively priced flight options to the park.
What To Bring
You should bring clothing and footwear suitable for safaris – muted khaki and green colours are ideal. Mornings can be cold, so bring a warm, dark coloured jumper or fleece and a dark wind proof jacket. A hat, gloves and scarf is essential. Lightweight trail boots are the most appropriate footwear, with trainers/sneakers for relaxing in.
Bring toiletries, spare glasses or contact lenses, a personal first aid kit and some insect repellent.
Good sunglasses equipped with a retaining device to keep them on your face, sunscreen (SPF 15 or greater and waterproof) is essential (bring from home) lip balm (SPF 15 minimum). Contact us with specific questions if the details within this site do not answer your queries.
Group Size
This is a Guided Private Journey designed for individuals, couples or small groups of friends travelling together with a maximum around 14 in the party.

The order of activities shown may change for operational reasons, however all activities will be completed during the tour.
Operator Remarks
It is possible to visit Chitwan year-round but the months of June, July and to mid-August is best avoided being the monsoon season. Between September and May it is possible also to stay within the park itself, rather than in Sauraha. Please contact us for details and prices.
