Food and Beverages
We work only with reputed restaurants nationwide. Hotels at the main cities and destinations include buffet breakfast or American breakfast. During our tours and excursions half-board or full-board is included, and sometimes box lunches are provided.
Accommodation
We work with Tourist, Superior and Deluxe category hotels. All of them are constantly inspected by our staff and provide great quality, location, service and safety.
Transport
Motor coaches and vehicles from different capacity are available to accommodate groups of different sizes. All of them are three year old or newer and periodically inspected and maintained.
Local Guides
Specialized guides are provided throughout the country and are constantly trained.
Age Restrictions
No minimum or maximum age is required for our activities and excursions, however some degree of physical strength may be needed for specific ones.
What to Bring
Different equipment and gear may be required for the different locations:
Coast: light clothes for warm weather, good walking shoes, insect repellent.
Andes: Essential items are several fleece layers and a complete wind and waterproof shell, also a warm hat and gloves. Hiking boots or comfortable walking shoes.
Amazon: Hiking boots or comfortable walking shoes, pants, long and short sleeved cotton shirts, windbreaker or sweater, shorts, bathing suit, insect repellent.
Optional: hat or cap, binoculars, flashlight, sunglasses, sun block (SPF 40), Camera (wide angle lens), plastic water bottle, waterproof small backpack, Personal first aid kit.

All prices are subject to change without previous notice.
Prices are based on one person, in double occupancy room, unless otherwise specified.
ITINERARY
The itineraries are planned with great care, although, for operational reasons, it may be necessary to change the sequence of activities in the itinerary or the specified route, and though such cases are exceptional, in general the itinerary should be treated only as a basic guideline.
SERVICES NOT INCLUDED
The passenger is responsible for obtaining passports, visas, travel insurance, payment of excess baggage, personal requests such as extra drinks, laundry service, communication (calls, faxes, emails, etc.), national and international airport departure taxes, gratuities, or other services and fees not specified in the itinerary.
UNUSED SERVICES
Some services may be interrupted or cancelled due to climate conditions, force majeure reasons, acts of nature, strikes, etc., or others beyond the control of the hotels, airlines, other suppliers or Metropolitan Touring Peru or its associates. No reimbursements will be made as a result of such interruptions or cancellations that escape our control.
INSURANCE
We highly recommend passengers to get trip cancellation, travel repatriation and international medical insurances to cover any inconveniences that may arise during the trip. We also urge them to check with their doctor to update vaccines and review medical concerns regarding international travel.
BOOKING AND PAYMENT POLICIES
-Any reservation must include at least the following information about the passenger(s) or group:
a. Complete names and surnames
b. Nationalities
c. Passport numbers
d. Dates of Birth
e. Gender
f. Dietary restrictions, if any
PAYMENT CONDITIONS
Full pre-payment is required on behalf of Metropolitan Touring Peru.
Payment constitutes the acceptance of the terms and conditions set out herein.
PAYMENT METHODS
A. Wire transfers:
Payments should be made to our bank account in Miami, USA. Full details will be sent at the time of booking.
B. Credit cards:
Credit card payment is available; however, a “Signature on File” form must be filled in and sent to us in advance. This form authorizes Metropolitan Touring Peru to charge our services to your corporate Visa, Master Card or American Express. Payments should be made to the order of:

CANCELLATIONS AND REIMBURSEMENTS
Notifications of cancellations and requests for reimbursements should be made in writing including all related information, and will receive immediate attention from us.
CANCELLATION CHARGES
Different cancellation charges apply to the different hotels and service providers. Cancellation charges tend to rise as the date of arrival approaches.
In any case, Metropolitan Touring Peru will do its best to keep these charges as low as possible. Still, in general terms, these cancellation charges can range between:

- 20% - 40% 60 – 46 days
- 30% - 60% 45 – 31 days
- 40% - 80% 30 – 15 days
- 80% - 100% 14 – 0 days
Important notes:
- Tighter pre-payment conditions and cancellation charges may apply to some specific dates, hotels and service providers. These conditions will be specifically mentioned by our travel consultant at the moment of your request.
- During high season, our company reserves the right to change our cancellation policies, if our suppliers apply tighter penalties on top of those stated above.
LIABILITY CLAUSE
The tour operator and its agents act only as agents for passengers in all matters pertaining to transportation, accommodations or other services not provided directly by Metropolitan Touring Peru. As agents, all tickets, exchange orders or vouchers are issued by them subject to any and all terms and conditions under which such means of transportation, accommodations or other services are offered or provided. The booking agent, airlines involved and general agent will not be liable for any vehicle furnished by any such other party, firm or corporation in carrying out or failing to carry out arrangements previously agreed upon, nor for the negligent misconduct of any such other party, firm or corporation in providing or failing to provide, are not to be held responsible for any act, omission or event during the time passengers are not on board their conveyance. The passenger contract in use by the airlines concerned, when issued, shall constitute the sole contract between booking agent, airline general agent and the purchaser of these and/ or passenger. We suggest that you book an insurance policy with your Travel Agency.
