The integration of ancient and modern Egyptian civilization and their total dependence on the presence of the magnificent Nile in a naturally arid environment can only really be appreciated from the air.
As the vagaries of air pressures and winds are constantly changing flying over a pre-designated area cannot be guaranteed, however the pilots’ long experience means they are more likely than not to know where the "three dimensional chess board" of Luxor’s air currents is most likely to take us. Wherever we may fly their experience generally enables them to navigate over what is held to be some of the most beautiful scenery in Egypt.
Commercial filming is undertaken for interested parties, mainly documentary and entertainment company film crews, but passenger flights are our speciality and Hod-Hod Soliman has been featured on the British T.V. program "Wish You Were Here …….?" No less than three times.
All pilots part of the Hod Hod team are mature, highly qualified and very experienced and use the best UK-made equipment, maintained to the very highest standards. These factors are reflected in the company's unique safety record.

Locally owned and managed by Chief Pilot Mohammed Ezz el Din, Hod Hod Soliman have taken local Egyptians with the prerequisite aptitude and approach to his philosophy of ‘enjoyment through safe flying’ to pilot level. This investment in local talent has given opportunities to those from Egypt that might not otherwise have existed. Investing in people goes beyond training pilots: Hod Hod have a network of dedicated ground staff – all Egyptian – who are employed in delivering additional services.
