Flight Information for Crete

International Flights to Crete

There are limited direct flights to Crete, but in 2008 EasyJet began a daily direct service from London Gatwick to Heraklion, which has cut flight times down to just over 3 hours. They also have a twice-weekly direct service from Manchester, which is great news for the Northerners.

Most flights to Crete are from London Heathrow to Athens with British Airways and connect with an Olympic Airlines flight to Heraklion or Chania.

Olympic Airlines also offer the same route from London Heathrow via Athens.

In the summer months, there are regular charter flights to Crete, and it is often possible to get a good flight-only deal at the last minute.
