Visa and Passport Requirements for Sicily

Entry Warning

The documentation and fee required for obtaining visas varies according to both your nationality and where you are applying from. It is the sole right of each country to determine who is allowed to enter.

Passport

All passports must be valid for six months and have two clear pages free.

Taxes

Some countries may charge an arrival or departure tax which may or may not be included in the price of an airline ticket, or may need to be paid in cash on arrival or departure.

South Africa A visa is required for entry to Italy. Requirements are a recent passport-style photo, passport valid for at least three months after visa expiry date, return-trip booking or ticket or proof of available means of personal transport, proof of available lodging in Italy: tourist vouchers, hotel booking, offer of hospitality, proof of economic means of support, documentation of socio-professional standing and health insurance with a minimum coverage of €30,000 for emergency hospital and repatriation expenses.
United States Visa not required.
United Kingdom Visa not required.
