Visa and Passport Requirements for Jordan

Entry Warning

The documentation and fee required for obtaining visas varies according to both your nationality and where you are applying from. It is the sole right of each country to determine who is allowed to enter.

Passport

All passports must be valid for six months and have two clear pages free.

Taxes

Some countries may charge an arrival or departure tax which may or may not be included in the price of an airline ticket, or may need to be paid in cash on arrival or departure.

Visa Requirements

Australia A visa can be purchased on arrival at all international airports and ports with the exception of the King Hussein Bridge for approximately $15 and is valid for stays of up to 30 days; no photograph is required. The visa allows for a single entry. If travelling as part of a group of 7 or more and arriving in and departing from Jordan at the same time a free visa can be arranged if your arrangements have been made by a local travel expert. There is currently a departure tax of JD5 per person.
Canada A visa can be purchased on arrival at all international airports and ports with the exception of the King Hussein Bridge for approximately $15 and is valid for stays of up to 30 days; no photograph is required. The visa allows for a single entry. If travelling as part of a group of 7 or more and arriving in and departing from Jordan at the same time a free visa can be arranged if your arrangements have been made by a local travel expert.
