The region of Świętokrzyskie is located in East Poland. It is home to 31 cities and towns as well as one national park and 9 landscape parks.

If it’s natural beauty that you are after then one of the best and most impressive attractions is the Raj Cave with its underground tunnels, stalactites, stalagmites and rare “cave pearls”. Or visit the Bartek Oak, the most famous tree in Poland which is over 700 years old.

Although if cities and culture are more your thing then head to Sandomierz for museums, markets and panoramic city views; Wąchock for Romanesque monuments and architecture or Bieliny for hiking, skiing and biking amidst forests that are shrouded in myths about evil creatures, ghouls and witches.
