The region of Opolskie is in South-west Poland with the Oder River going through the middle. It has 35 cities and towns as well as numerous protected areas/landscape parks.
Adorned with the Opawskie Mountains and three large lakes; Turawskie, Nyskie and Otmuchowskie, it is an incredibly beautiful region. It also has several medieval towns to explore such as Nysa, Paczków and Brzeg with their monasteries and castles as well as larger cities including Opole with its cultural festivals, tree lined canals and tranquil parks.
However, to get away from the towns and cities to see the Polish wilderness you can’t beat hiking or mountain biking in the Opawskie Mountains.
