Northern Botswana comprises one of the finest (if not the greatest) collections of wildlife and wilderness areas on earth. The Okavango Delta (or Okavango Swamp) is the world's largest inland delta and undoubtedly one of the natural wonders of the world. Nestled in the Okavango Delta, Moremi Game Reserve has the world’s highest concentration of leopard and endangered African wild dogs. Chobe National Park is Botswana’s second largest national park and is home to some of the greatest concentrations of wildlife found in Africa. The famous waterways of Chobe and Zambezi run along the north-eastern edge of the region and Victoria Falls is only a short journey away. For contrast, Nxai Pan National Parks’ lush seasonal grasslands hold an array of game during the rainy season whilst Tsodilo Hills will reward intrepid travellers with one of the highest concentrations of rock art in the world.
