South Africa’s North West Province was created in 1994 after the end of Apartheid and it provides a link between South Africa and Botswana. At 116,320 square kilometres it is South Africa’s sixth largest region as well as the largest platinum production area in the world. However, it is the eclectic cities, stunning national parks and vast game reserves that continue to lure the tourists in.

One such city is the unique Sun City; the “Las Vegas” of South Africa. Here you can try your luck in the casinos or play a round at a world famous golf course.

However, no trip to South Africa would be complete without a visit to one of its renowned national parks and here in the North West Province you’ll find Pilanesberg National Park where you can spot the ‘Big Five’ amongst others.
