The region of Łódzkie is in central Poland near the Świętokrzyskie Mountains. Its capital is Łódż which is also the second biggest city in Poland. Łódż is famous for its textile industry and there’s plenty to do here including trips to the theatres for Polish performances, museums and the old market square. Or to learn of the city’s history tour the Jewish ghetto and monuments.
The region of Łódzkie is also home to approximately seven ‘landscape parks’ or protected areas, some of which contain nature reserves within their boundaries.
However, if you’re looking for a more active trip than the latter you needn’t look far as Łódzkie has plenty to offer in the way of outdoor activities including kayaking, hiking, biking and skiing.
