The state of Florida is a large peninsula in the south-east of the USA and known as "the sunshine state" it has a desirable climate which makes visiting all year round possible.
Florida is the fourth most populous state if not particularly large and it has vast amounts to offer tourists from the ever popular Walt Disney World and trendy Miami to the swamps of the Everglades and the naturally beautiful Florida Keys.
However, don't miss out on Florida's lesser known attractions such as its capital; Tallahassee, where you'll find museums and other cultural delights, or head to Jacksonville for numerous art galleries and beautiful historic neighbourhoods.
