Eastern Cambodia borders Laos and Vietnam, and ranges from high hills clad in forest and jungle in the north to fertile agricultural plains in the south.

You can watch dolphins in the Mekong north of well-preserved colonial-era Kratie and in Ratanakiri Province wildlife enthusiasts will find much to arouse their interest with big cats - including tiger - and elephant to be found.

As with Cambodia’s neighbours the east is home to ethnic minority people, hill tribes, who have vastly different cultures to their lowland brethren, also found here in the east – head to Banlung to meet them.
