The privileged location of the village, with its stone-built houses peacefully scattered across the slopes, offers a panoramic view of the green Ayios Theodoros valley. The endless and quiet beaches at the foot of Scarinou on the road from Larnaka to Limassol are easily accessible. It is no coincidence, that Scarinou was once the "station" where tired travellers crossing the island from one end to the other stopped for a break.

Today, Scarinou is a convenient and central base from where the modern traveller can discover the whole island. One can easily and comfortably visit the nearby archeological sites, the famous monasteries and enjoy the beautiful sea, the mountains and the picturesque Cypriot countryside.
