Salla can be found in Lapland and lies within the Arctic Circle very close to the Russian border. At first glance it appears to be a sleepy kind of place but dig under the surface and you’ll find a fabulous holiday destination. 

Salla offers a choice of accommodation ranging from a spa hotel to cosy winter cottages. Ten ski slopes provide entertainment for skiers and the local reindeer farm offers an excellent range of activities which take full advantage of the vast wilderness that surrounds the village.

Nightlife is not exactly top of the agenda but there is a restaurant and bar at the hotel and also across the road next to the Salla Tunturin Cabins.
