Playa de las Americas a lively, purpose-built holiday resort located between the municipality of Arona and Costa Adeje in the south of Tenerife. With its extensive nightlife and various beaches, it remains popular for those who look for sun, fun, and relaxation.

The beach resort was built in the 1960s beside the town of Los Cristianos, stretching northward to the Costa Adeje. The resort area features numerous bars and nightclubs, as well as a number of beaches, most of which are man-made from imported sand from Africa due to the darkness of the native volcanic sand.

Las Americas offers an abundance of attractions including the Octopus Waterpark, the Starco Commercial Centre, and the marina at Puerto Colon where you can either board a catamaran or sip cocktails whilst watching the sunset over La Gomera. Visitors can also enjoy watching the famous Tricoloured Heron.
