23 kilometres north of Pafos is In is the village of Pano Akourdalia, built on a hill in the traditional architecture style of the area.  This small picturesque village is possibly the best destination for people looking for tranquillity, nature, and relaxation.

You can enjoy walking in the nature paths of the Chrysochou valley, rich in vegetation, vines, and fruit trees. Nearby is the Folk Art museum, and a short hike away is the restored medieval Church of Ayia Paraskevi.
