The village of Nellim lies on the shores of Lake Inari in the far north east of Finland, only 9 km away from the Russian border and 42 km north east of Ivalo.
The area is home to three different cultures: the Finns, Inari Sami and Skolt Sami who mainly make their living from reindeer farming and tourism.
