Thanks its dozens of scuba diving centres and warm water, La restinga became an important tourist resort in El Hierro. The resort has a small selection of bars, fish restaurants, a few shops, and is an ideal location for a calm holiday in a typical Canarian fishing village. This little fishing village offers more than 320 days a year of sunshine. La Restinga coastline has been declared an underwater national park.
