The Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park is an amalgamation of Kgalagadi Game Reserve in Botswana and Kalahari Gemsbok National Park in South Africa. It is the world’s first successful frontier peace park and is jointly managed by South Africa and Botswana. Visitors may travel freely across the frontier within the park.
This park is most famous for its two dying rivers, the Nossop and the Aurup that trap the famous red sand dunes of the Kalahari. There is an outstanding choice of accommodation from 6 bedded chalets to extremely private two-bedded tented camps, set on dry river beds in a wilderness that truly belongs to itself.
