Located in the far north west of the Archipelago, the islands of Darwin and Wolf are the most remote of Galapagos. Pinta and Marchena Islands are also some 90 kilometres north of Santa Cruz.
Each of these islands have been deemed out of bounds for visitors, so there are no landing points and very few itineraries bring groups to these areas, except for several scuba diving operators.
Consequently, very few itineraries include visits to these islands.
Spectacularly beautiful and rich in wildlife, the islands of Darwin (Culpepper), Wolf (Wenman), Pinta (Abingdon) and Marchena (Bindloe) are the realm of nature itself, with the air and the seas teeming with life.
Travellers may only witness their beauty from the sides of their vessels or on one of the few scuba diving trips that come to these distant shores.
