Antigua is a good choice for holiday makers looking to get away from it all. It is a low key resort, with a scattering of bars and basic resort amenities.

Antigua, a Spanish word for ancient, is a Canarian municipality in the central and the eastern portion of the island of Fuerteventura in the Las Palmas province with the Atlantic Ocean to the east and farmlands dominating the rest of the municipality especially along the coast. Just outside Caleta de Fuste lies Costa de Antigua, a much quieter area for people seeking a really relaxing holiday.
