Agulo is located on the north coast of the island of La Gomera in the province of Santa Cruz de Tenerife of the Canary Islands.

Agulo is one of the smallest boroughs located on the north coast of the island of La Gomera in the province of Santa Cruz de Tenerife and nothwest of the capital San Sebastián de la Gomera.  It is divided into two clearly different areas; the smaller lower zone where the capital of the borough and the picturesque hamlet of Lepe, and the high part which includes Las Rosas, La Palmita, Meriga, and Cruz de Tierno.The village of Agulo was founded in the second decade of the 17th century.

Attractions in Agulo

They include the quarters of El Charco, Las Casas, and La Montañeta which offer good examples of traditional Gomeran architecture; the viewpoint of Abrante with Tenerife and Mount Teide in the background; Sobreagulo along with the settlements of Las Rosas, Las PalmitasCruz de Tierno, and Meriga; besides other sites of interests such as Torta de Cuajada.
