International Flights to Zimbabwe

Air services into Zimbabwe have been much reduced in recent years through both lack of demand and concerns over standards of airport, runway and general maintenance. Air Zimbabwe operates a direct service from London Gatwick to Harare. Alternatively Harare can be reached on either British Airways, South African Airways or Kenyan Airways on indirect services via Johannesburg or Nairobi.

British Airways flights from United Kingdom to Zimbabwe

BA offer daily overnight flights into Johannesburg from London Heathrow with connections onto Harare or Victoria Falls the following morning. Direct flights into Harare were suspended in 2007. Flight time is around 15 1/2 hours.

South African Airways flights from United Kingdom to Zimbabwe

SA also offer daily overnight flights into Johannesburg from London Heathrow with connections onto Harare or Victoria Falls the following morning.

Air Zimbabwe flights from United Kingdom to Zimbabwe

Air Zimbabwe offers a direct service between London Gatwick and Harare, with connections onto either Victoria Falls or Bulawayo.

Kenya Airways flights from United Kingdom to Zimbabwe

Kenya Airways offer daily overnight flights into Nairobi from London Heathrow with connections onto Harare the following morning.

Domestic Flights in Zimbabwe

Air Zimbabwe provides reguler flights between the main centres and major tourist resorts with the exception of the Lowveld and Eastern Districts. Air Charter flights are avialabe to all centers and most game viewing areas. Transport and services, including internal and external flights with Air Zimbabwe, may be cancelled or not run on schedule.
