Alitalia, the national carrier, fly from London Heathrow to Catania via Rome and Milan. Low cost carriers such as My Air, Air One and Wind Jet fly from Italian hubs to Catania.

Palermo is served by Ryanair who operate a daily flight from London Stansted. Easyjet will soon launch their London Gatwick/Palermo service. As with Catania, Alitalia and several other carriers link the mainland with Palermo.
