Domestic Flights in Cuba

Cubana airlines, the Cuban goverment owned airline, is the only airline that operates domestic flights on the island, from Havana to Baracoa, Bayamo, Camagüey, Cayo Largo, Ciego de Avila, Nueva Gerona, Guantanamo, Holguin, Las Tunas Manzanillo, Moa and Santiago de Cuba. Most domestic flights are on smaller propeller aircraft.

Due to concerns about the upkeep of some of the aircraft, please seek current advice before booking domestic flights within Cuba.

Note that due to the US trade embargos some of Cubana’s aircraft have become old and maintenance may not be up to international standards.

Please see the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Country Advice pages for the latest advice on using domestic aircraft in Cuba.
