Visa and Passport Requirements for China
Entry Warning
The documentation and fee required for obtaining visas varies according to both your nationality and where you are applying from. It is the sole right of each country to determine who is allowed to enter.
Passport
All passports must be valid for six months and have two clear pages free.
Taxes
Some countries may charge an arrival or departure tax which may or may not be included in the price of an airline ticket, or may need to be paid in cash on arrival or departure.

A visa is required and cannot be obtained on arrival at the Chinese mainland (visas can be issued in Hong Kong). To obtain a visa one application form, one passport photograph, flight & hotel booking confirmation and your passport is required. The visa will take 4 working days to issue in the embassy. It is valid for 2 months with a stay of 30 days. A 2 month single entry visa is £30; a 2 month double entry £45. Express issuance is available. |
