North Cyprus is a great place for a holiday. It is only the part of Cyprus that remains unspoilt. Kyrenia with its beautiful venetian harbour and castle is a must see place. There are some nice local restaurants and cafés in the harbour. I enjoyed having a cup of Turkish Caffee after my meal! Kyrenia also boasts many hotels and accommodations. It is a great base to explore the island. Famagusta was full of history including Salamis ruins and more. The Karpaz is amazingly beautiful! It boasts best beaches on Cyprus island. You will be greeted by wild donkeys!

We stayed in Riverside Holiday Village and it was one of the best resorts in North Cyprus. The food was superb, the staff were always friendly and made our holiday a memorable one. If you are looking for a hotel in 9km west of Kyrenia (which is the best part of Kyrenia with nice beaches) I would strongly recommend Riverside.
