La Palud-sur-Verdon is a pretty village and a good place to start an exploration of the Gorges du Verdon. The village itself however has its own attractions including an 18th century castle, 13th century bell tower, market and plenty of local activities including biking and walking, swimming in lake St Croix, horse riding, climbing and white-water rafting.
