Lying on a trade route to the south of Al Quseir in the direction of Qift Wadi Hammamat contains graffiti which dates from Pharaonic times: the names of several famous pharaohs including Pepi and Seti, along with those of Persian kings Darius and Cambyses can be seen as can the remains of ancient fortifications and wells. Visit as part of an organized tour from Al Quseir.
