Translating as "Craftsmen's Village" Shilpgram is a living ethnographic museum depicting the enormous diversities in craft, art & culture between various Indian states. Rather manufactured the village is nonetheless interesting with various displays to be enjoyed. The village comprises of some 2 dozen huts set in some 70 acres and there are performances and demonstrations taking place during the day. Beautiful terracotta-work, mainly in dark red and dark brown, along with the wood carvings are the village’s forte.
