Located on the eastern flanks of the Pichincha Volcano, the Teleferiqo Cable Car is the second highest in the world and on a clear day the panorama takes in half-a-dozen volcanoes and the entire city below. 

The eight minute ride starts at 3045 metres and goes to the summit of Loma Cruz, at 4050 metres.
