The West End is the most commercial part of Roatan Island and where most visitors end up staying. 

Home to the majority of the high-end resorts, the budget hotels and many restaurants, you'll also find this is where most organised activities take place such as diving, fishing and water sports. Sea kayaking, boat tours around the island, scuba diving and sailing are most popular.

Despite the commercialization, West End has somehow managed to maintain a laid-back feel, with good beaches and reefs just offshore.
