Punta Garcia is situated on the east coast of Isabela Island, across the Isabela Channel from Santiago Island. It is the only visitor site on the east of the island so more accessible for boats, but rough seas and National Park regulations see few landings here.

Sitting beneath Darwin and Alcedo Volcanoes, those who do come can see aa lava, pelicans and at times, flightless cormorants.
