Puerto Baquerizo Moreno is the administrative centre of the Galapagos Archipelago and second largest settlement in the region, after Puerto Ayora in Santa Cruz. It is the location of the only other major airport on the islands, other than Baltra.

Less developed and less visited than Puerto Ayora, this town is a popular base for people who wish to spend a few days on San Cristóbel Island.
