Also known as Duncan Island, Isla Pinzon is located an almost equal distance between the Islands of Santiago to the north, Santa Cruz to the east and Isabela to the west.

The rocky cliffs and coves hold an abundance of bird life, as well as a marine tortoise reserve and seal rookery, all of which are protected by a National Park ruling that visitors are not permitted.

The surrounding waters are popular for scuba diving, where seals, sea turtles, eagle rays, dolphins, marine iguanas and many beautiful other marine creatures can be seen.
