Noted as one of Time magazine’s top 100 bars of the world, this café has been the haunt of locals, whalers, yachtsmen and probably a fair few pirates too since the early part of this century. 

Inside it is all wood and decorated with yacht flags and nautical maps and offers excellent food and drink but also a foreign exchange facility and shop. Upstairs is the scrimshaw museum which is worth a visit.
