Tamarindo’s beautiful stretch of beach features rocky areas backed by coconut palms and tamarinds and is a great spot for snorkelling with an opportunity to see coral reef, dolphins and manta rays. This area also has the most important stretch of coast line for surfing.

For the more adventurous you can take an ATV tour into the hills above Tamarindo or go kayaking along the slow moving waters of the Tempisque Estuary.
