Just outside of Muscat, Bandar Rowdha is billed as the Sultanate’s premier marina and is certainly of interest to more than those that want to berth their boats. It has a full complement of features from a swimming pool and jacuzzi to restaurant and bar. People visit to arrange scuba trips, big game fishing expeditions, dolphin and whale watching excursions, dhow trips and jet-skiing. You can even get dropped off by boat at a quiet beach for a spot of R and R to be collected later.
