Livingstone's Museum is home to a variety of exhibits: the History Gallery covers the British Colonial Rule and Zambia's Independence including items donated by Dr. David Livingstone's family.  The Archaeology Gallery displaying Zambia's human history from Stone Age and Iron Age times; the Natural History Section covers Zambia's indigenous wildlife and the Ethnography and Art Galleries exhibit objects from Zambia's different cultures.

Located on the main road through town, the museum is Zambia's largest and oldest museum.
