Sitting on the shores of Lake Titicaca, close to the border of Bolivia, the town of Puno has a vibrant, lively and somewhat chaotic feel. Tri-cycle taxis peddle through the narrow streets and street merchants sell their wares from around the region and across the borders to the south.

Puno is the place where most travellers passing through the region will spend a night, and whilst here explore the Lake and surrounding areas of the Altiplano.
