25 miles from the national park, Poring Hot Springs are a collection of hot and cool pools in a forest clearing on the other side of Mamut River. Within its 3 acres there are 5 hot springs with temperatures ranging from 49º to 60º C (120º to 140º F) and channelled into several tiled pools and tubs. Soaking in a steamy sulphur hot water bath is an ideal way to recuperate after an arduous mountain climb up Mount Kinabalu. After a cool dip in the cool water pool you should feel completely refreshed.
