Victoria Embankment - also called Esplanade - is one of the oldest and most famous streets in the city. It is - besides the Supreme Court Building in the Victorian style - seamed by modern sky-scrapers and runs all along the Bay of Natal, from Maydon Wharf with the Sugar Terminal in the west, past the yacht harbour to the quays in the east.
