The warm waters of the Arabian Gulf lap Dubai’s beaches which are without doubt some of the best in the entire Middle East. The state has a number of both beaches and beach-parks which together offer the visitor a wide range of recreational and entertainment facilities. The year round sunshine and superb soft sandy beaches along the coast are perfect for relaxing whilst for the more active, there are water-sports to enjoy. Winter is the best time to visit – avoid summer which is both too hot and too humid.

Jumeirah Beach is perhaps the most famous and popular beach in Dubai. A long stretch of beach on the Arabian Gulf flanked by hotels and private clubs, it is nonetheless accessible to the public at a number of spots. There is also a public beach at Al Mamzar Park located on the on the Deira side of Dubai Creek. The public facilities include playgrounds, barbecue sites, food kiosks, and picnic areas for families.
