Nepali’s call the waterfalls here Patale Chhango, Hell's Falls, but they are perhaps named Devi's Falls after an incident when a tourist named David(?) fell into them. The Pardi Khola river disappears into a sinkhole here and re-emerges some 200m further on. It’s a spectacular site in and just after the monsoon.
