The Bijilo Forest Park, found at the southern end of Kololi Beach, is an extremely small reserve covering an area of only half a square kilometre.  It is a good place to spot Vervet and Red Colobus Monkeys, Monitor Lizards and a wide variety of birds.  Look out for the Rhun Palms - the last remaining ones in the Gambia.
