A small town north of Bharatpur, Deeg is home to the wonderful water palace of Raja Suraj Mahl and an impressive fort. The palace is a blend of Rajput and Moghul styles with elegantly curved roofs and cloister-like passages all overlooking the wonderful gardens, moats and tanks of water. The fountains are still in use during festival times.
