Old houses and a warren of alleys characterises Salalah’s oldest and most authentic souq – Al Hafa. It’s the best place in Oman to buy frankincense and the associated burners, as well as silver jewellery and the khanjar daggers work by Omani men. The souq is located close to the Corniche.
