Connections started operating in October 1996 as an Inbound Tour Operator. We offer a real 'one-stop shop', providing the complete range of high quality inbound personalized travel services. The Company has developed an excellent reputation and is well respected for its professional integrity, high calibre of staff and the quality of its operations.

We are a completely neutral company with no affiliation or ties with any of the major commercial groups in Mauritius and we have an excellent level of co-operation with all hotels and suppliers on the island.

Background

As well as providing ground transport, hotels, and excursions, we specialise in the planning, organisation and operation of incentive groups, management of meetings conferences, congresses and special events. Planning and organising special interest groups and shore excursions for cruise ships. We are also specialists in organising wedding packages.

Karl Braunecker, our Managing Director has over 20 years experience in management in the Mauritian Tourism Industry. He founded the company with the strong belief of a bright future for tourism in Mauritius.

Licences And Associations

We are a member of AIOM, the Association of Inbound Operators in Mauritius, and ITMA, Incentive Travel & Meetings Association.

Responsible Travel

All components of our operation are constantly monitored and assessed through our 'Quality Management System' and all sub-contracted services such as vehicle hire and restaurants are subject to regular Quality Control checks. Staff motivation and training are on-going activities with a very high priority.

Hotel Reservation Service

Season: Year round

We are able to make reservations for all hotels on the island. If the hotel required is not listed please contact us and we would be happy to supply rates. We are able to deal with last minute requests and aim to always reply to you within 24 hours.

Airport Services

Season: Year round

We have a permanent desk at the airport (No.18 in the arrival hall) and are able to offer meet and greet, assistance with luggage and transfers either by car, limousine, coach or even helicopter.

Private car and driver

Season: Year round

We are able to offer you the services of a private car with a qualified driver guide should you wish to travel on your own itinerary.

VIP Services

Season: Year round

We offer luxury transfers and tours in executive cars.

Excursions

Season: Year round

We operate several itineraries covering the whole of the island.
